The Youth Zone is going to be supporting the School summer fair - we will be used as a venue for a FREE family evening social event from 7-9.30pm - click here or above for details...! 

Welcome to the website for Winterslow Youth Zone! 

We hope that we can use the website to keep everyone in up to date with plans and to show everyone what we get up to!  It's also somewhere that parents can come for information (and, note to parents!) we are always grateful for more help on a Friday!  Any help, whether on a regular, casual, general or specialised basis is more than welcome.  Perhaps you can offer a particular activity that our young people would be interested in?  Please see Carolyn or email youthzone@tiscali.co.uk if you can help.  You can also contact us through the email below and send suggestions about what you would like to see on the website !

MAY 2011 UPDATE: The lighter nights have seen a return to the outdoors and an opportunity to run off some excess energy!  We have lots of outdoor events planned over the next couple of months, including rounders games, giant garden games, police dog displays and the usual outdoor equipment on hand – football, badminton, basketball, rock n hopper and pedal racers as well as our indoor games and activities.  We will also be running the Life Support qualification again and hopefully doing some mechanics, bath bomb making and clay modelling.  New or returning seniors are always welcome – just turn up at around 8pm.  Our junior sessions are currently full but if you would like to come along for a trial week please contact Carolyn.  We look forward to welcoming you!

NOTICE BOARD  VISITORS : We have always had a policy where visitors can attend with their friends, but this beginning to get a little out of hand. Seniors are welcome to attend as visitors as we are not at capacity, but from now on we will have a limit of 5 junior visitors per session – please book your space with Carolyn on 863302 or youthzone@tiscali.co.uk FEES: From Friday 1st April our subs (or entrance fee) will increase to £1.50 per week, per person in the Junior session. A TIMEKEEPING PLEA..... We have a few parents who are often late picking up children.  PLEASE ensure you are there on time – the Junior session ends at 8pm  – our volunteers have worked hard and deserve to leave on time!  Persistent offenders may face sanctions!! Thank you.
